Why is Soul Space changing systems?
To improve your experience with more reliable appointment reminders, video links, and secure client portal access.
Will there be any disruption to my appointments?
No. Your scheduled appointments remain the same. You may receive duplicate reminders from both the old and new systems temporarily.
What do I need to do?
Look for an email from Upheal (check spam/junk folder). It will contain a link to your new client portal where you’ll need to:

Re-sign consent forms (telehealth, privacy, etc.)

Update payment method (for self-pay clients)
What about insurance clients?
Your billing continues through Headway exactly as before. No action needed from you.
What about self-pay clients?
Invoicing will move from SimplePractice to Upheal. You will receive invoices directly through your Upheal client portal.
Where will my appointment reminders come from?
Going forward: Upheal (email and/or text).
For a short transition period: you may still receive reminders from SimplePractice as well.
Where is my telehealth link?
Your link will be in the Upheal appointment reminder. It may open in a browser rather than a mobile app. Please click it 2–3 minutes early to test.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Upheal works through your web browser on computer or phone.
What if I can’t find the email from Upheal?
Check your spam/promotions folder. Add Upheal and Soul Space to your contacts. Still can’t find it? Email Sonya directly.
Who do I contact with problems during the transition?
Reply to any Soul Space message or email Sonya directly at sonya@soulspace.systems. Please allow a little extra response time during the first week of transition.
What other small changes should I expect?

You may need to log in with a new password.

Clinical assessments (if you complete them regularly) may arrive in a slightly different email format.

Your payment method may need to be re-entered even if it was on file before.
