Weekly therapy works well for many people. But sometimes you want to go deeper, faster — without months of starting and stopping.

An EMDR intensive condenses hours of trauma processing into one or two days. You show up, we work, and you leave with significantly reduced distress — often in a fraction of the time weekly therapy would take.
Choose an EMDR intensive if:

-
You can pay cash (or use out-of-network benefits)
-
You want to start within weeks, not months
-
You have a specific traumatic event or clear target
-
You prefer concentrated, immersive work
-
You want to complete treatment in days instead of months
How it Works
-
Screening call (60 min – $200) – We determine if an intensive is right for you and which target(s) to focus on. Single-event intensive – One specific, later-in-life trauma (e.g., a car accident, assault, or medical event). The brain usually isolates these memories, so we can usually resolve them in 3–6 hours. Chronic/developmental intensive – Early, repeated, or layered trauma (e.g., childhood neglect, long-term bullying, attachment wounds). These memories are often tangled together and have shaped how you see yourself. Resolving them takes more time — typically 12–20+ hours — because we go slower, build more stability, and work through multiple targets.
-
Intensive day (Monday or Friday, 2–6 hours) – Uninterrupted EMDR processing with breaks as needed.
-
Follow-up (optional) – One integration session 1–2 weeks later to lock in gains.
-
Pricing is contingent on how many core memories are necessary to process and how deeply they are connected to a a clients sense of self.
